There seems to be limited information and resources on how to treat these resistant organisms. Although new medications have been created (ceftolozane/tazobactam and ceftazidime/avibactam), we have already seen resistance to these newer agents. It seems like the polymyxins are the mainstays of therapy (but I'm sure this is controversial as well). If one were to use combination therapy for a carbapenem-resistent gram-negative bacilli, which agent(s) should one use?
