Some people argue that intern year is the most difficult year during their residencies. It's a year of many firsts. It's the first year of our career as doctors. The first order we'll write, the first surgery to participate in as "surgeon junior", the first 24 hour shift (running around and simultaneously juggling 3 or 4 pagers) and the first interaction with patients as their doctors. Looking back on intern year, is there anything you would change to make it a better year?
