Thank you all for participating in this NEJM discussion series on surviving the first month as a doctor! I'm especially interested in being a co-moderator here as I am just about 2 weeks into my internship in internal medicine. Many thoughts have crossed my mind each day on what I could have done differently to improve the experience for my patients and myself. I wanted to start this discussion off by asking the panelists to list their top three pieces of advice for new physicians that they wish they had done differently, or that they found especially important during their internships. Thanks!
