This has been alluded to in previous answers (e.g. advocating for insurance coverage for patients to reduce disparities, broadening of medical education mission), but I thought this would benefit from its own question thread. Namely, it can be easy to absolve oneself of personal responsibility when it comes to systemic / societal problems such as those implicated in health disparities. What would be your recommendations for physicians to do on an individual level? Would be great to get as concrete as possible. This is one of the most common questions I have heard and received!
