Recent USPSTF guidelines published in JAMA concluded that current evidence is insufficient to assess the balance of benefits and harms of screening for celiac disease in asymptomatic people.

What is the current recommendation for screening first degree family members of patients with celiac disease? What is the recommendation for screening others that may be at an increased risk of developing disease due to a co-morbid condition? Does the recommendation change if the individual is asymptomatic.
