Some patients may question each test or treatment, even those that are strongly recommended, based on clinical guidelines or that you feel would truly benefit them. What are some approaches in this situation--how much effort should we make to try to change their mind (and if so how is the best way to do that?)--or is it ok to just document that patient refused recommended treatment?
