What resources, online or otherwise, might help students in their learning and clinical care? Most students know about study books but I ask this question because as clerkship year went on I found other great aids. I'll start with a short list:
- uptodate.com (evidence-based summaries)
- mdcalc.com (lots of risk calculators, also available as a free app, and these help understand the rationale behind clinical decision-making)
- stanfordmedicine25.stanford.ed... (for reinforcing physical exam skills)
- onlinemeded.org (a series of free informative lectures)
How would you suggest students find information and learn, when they are overwhelmed with primary literature, review articles, textbooks, study guides, and other resources?
