A significant source of anxiety for medical students is uncertainty in what they must "know" heading into clerkships. The extent of material both covered and not covered in the preclinical curriculum further breeds this anxiety. What are students expected to know or be proficient at (e.g. building rapport, basic anatomy, etc) before beginning clerkships?
