In the current funding climate for research and the NIH's payline, it's hard to get any research funded at all. Dr. Nicholson Price brought up a very good point that data is expensive, validating data is expensive. What are avenues that are available for researchers in healthcare analytics? Are there resources you recommend for researchers ranging from residents, early career investigators, to more senior faculty? Can collaborations with industry be a way to stimulate robust research?
