Good evening everyone. Thank you for participating in this discussion! I look forward to serving as your Lead Moderator over the coming days. The results of this study are quite interesting, but let’s start with the practical implications. I can imagine that abscesses with significant areas of erythema are usually treated with antibiotics, even if guidelines might advise drainage only. Can you share your experience treating MRSA-suspected skin abscesses in the emergency room? Give us a picture of what is happening on the ground. Will this study actually change clinical practice?
