I have been involved in various types/topics of research. As a Radiology resident, my publications/oral presentations were mainly for Rad. However, if I am applying for other specialties, will these experiences help? I have heard that even though it is not the same specialty, publications in peer review journals show that you can complete a research project and your academic capacity. Another question is that I am doing remote research with US physicians in my desired specialty. Although the manuscript is at its final stage, I am afraid that it will still be under review by the time of ERAS application submission. How are 'articles under review' of the specialty + publications in other specialties perceived?
