As we all know, a patient isn't just their past medical history.Patients come to their doctors carrying their medical history, but also their cultural and belief systems. Coming from a global medicine background myself, I believe this aspect of the patient is a huge part of their health. It can take months to years to learn how to consolidate medical advice with a cultural belief system. How do you think this affects the transition process? How can this aspect of the transition be addressed?
