Dr. Rosenblum brought up the point that "medical education needs to be refocused from the start with emphasis on critical thinking, flexibility and team management." My medical school attempts to teach these skills through Team-Based Learning sessions throughout the first two years, where we evaluate ethical and clinical cases with a team of our peers.
What ways do you think these skills can be introduced early in medical education? Do you think early education in this will make the transitioning process any easier for doctors and patients in the future?
