Thank you so much for participating in this journal club! So fantastic to connect with you all on this platform.

I’m interested to understand a particular in the procedures for the control group specifically - what was the rationale for waiting until the control infant was at least 24 hours old before doing any KMC and ‘clinically stable’ for 24 hours before continuous KMC?

My interpretation of the current WHO recommendations is infants <2kg should get KMC (ideally continuous) as soon as they are clinically stable, regardless of their age.
