Thank you for such an engaging and dynamic discussion! I firstly wanted to echo my colleagues by congratulating the authors on producing a fantastic paper with many vital learning points.
My question is:
We noticed that the surrogates were women and that men were not permitted to stay in post-natal areas. What were the reasons for excluding fathers from the post-natal areas? Do you feel that fathers might be able to play a role in future implementation of kangaroo care? What are some strategies that could be used to help empower and involve fathers?
