Firstly we would like to thank the authors for such an interesting paper and such a collaborative cross-continent project. A few of us at this site have worked in low resource settings and have seen how important KMC is first hand. One of the first things we want to ask is how you achieved such high rates of compliance with KMC? Many of us found it challenging to achieve continuous KMC on the units that we worked on due to mothers having responsibilities elsewhere (for example to care for other children, to prepare meals, for work). How were you able to motivate mothers to do continuous KMC for such long periods of time?
