A lot of groups spoke at the conference about the "ivory tower" of medicine and how it has hurt vulnerable populations, including people of color, and harmed our ability to engage with and gain the trust of those communities today. There was some discussion of how to avoid and begin to rectify that moving forward, but I thought we could further that discussion here.

What are the key components to keep in mind and practice while engaging and educating others about climate change and health?
