When is it really necessary to build and cultivate an online presence? During training or in practice? One might argue in our socially distanced world we are spending more time online and traditional networking opportunities are few and far between. Does this make an online presence necessary for trainees looking to expand their networks?
Further, once in practice -academic or private - are there certain specialities that lend themselves to creating an online presence? Elective/specialty fields vs primary/critical care.
