Telemedicine is transforming health care delivery and appears to be here to stay. Although there are many advantages to telemedicine, it is undoubtedly less personal than a face to face encounter. How we can make telemedicine more personal and conducive to building trust? Additionally, does telemedicine have the potential to contribute to disparities due to differential access to technology or other factors? How can we mitigate this when creating novel models for telemedicine-based care?
