Looking forward to hearing the authors' discussion of race and ethnicity in their next publication. To briefly discuss pathophysiology, given what we are seeing regarding disparate disease risk and fatality of Covid-19 in African Americans while understanding the attenuated response of blood pressure to RAAS blockade in African Americans due to lower circulating renin levels, have there been any attempts thus far to characterize the Covid-RAAS inhibition relationship specifically by race or separately in the African American population? Or do the authors know if this is an area of basic science that is currently being explored?
