The results of the ORBITA trial were notable enough for the lay press. The trial showed that PCI for stable angina despite medical therapy and single-vessel disease did not improve exercise time after 6 weeks. Have the results of this trial changed practice at all? Were most patients with stable angina routinely undergoing PCI/stenting for relief of angina? What were the major limitations of the ORBITA trial?
