Welcome everyone to our Ask the Experts discussion on all things cardiovascular! Our moderators have already thrown out some excellent questions on the ever changing landscape of clinical cardiology. I'd like to take a step back and ask our experts what they are most excited about in terms of cardiovascular research that's on the horizon, work that might make it to the clinic in the next decade. It seems that major trials have stagnated around fine tuning anti-thrombotic regimens for patients. It's been over 5 years since PARADIGM-HF came out. We're still using the same anti-arrhythmic agents that we have been using for years. What are some novel disease modifying therapies that might be coming down the pipeline?
