Many patients turn to the internet to solve health problems both before and after visiting a physician. With the average adult reading at the 8th grade level, it is not surprising that most patients lack the skills to properly search for information, appraise its quality, and/or apply it to solve their problem. While we know low health literacy impacts health outcomes, much less is known about eHealth literacy. Do you address the use of online resources for health information with your patients? If so what do you recommend?
