Hi all. Thank you for the forum and apologies for the more "technical" questions but its rare to have the ears of POCUS experts in on place.
1: For fluid response: is it common practice to use echo Stroke Volume measures-LVOTd/LVOT VTI on your patients? If not-is there an ultrasound measure of equal value?
2: For POCUS cardiac imaging: do you use/teach the radiology convention of imaging, or flip the indicator or change preset to the cardiology convention. I hear both are used in interests of time savings.
Thanks again. Just a cardiac sonographer/educator here with a keen interest in adding POCUS teachings to the "arsenal".
