I'm interested in how the Army and DOD is preparing their Soldier-Athletes for leading a healthy life after their military career? Are their bridging programs to help with the transition to civilian life in this area and how well are they interfaced with the VA and private sectors? Secondly, does the DOD continue to follow the fitness, nutritional and psycho-social health of tier soldier-athletes longitudinally and if so for how long and is there a feedback loop for them and their caretakers?
