Hi all, I finished my MD in Beijing China and now start my PhD in Europe. I'm planning to go to US and restart residency training after PhD. I'm very interested in oncology research and my long-term goal is to become a physician scientist. Taking "year of graduation" into account, is the MD/PhD degree really helpful for IMGs like me to get a better resident/fellow position? Or only when the candidate has a good publication list and that helps? Thank you very much!
