For shelf exams and Steps 1, 2CK, or 3, the question stem can often involve an entire paragraph of text. Do you often read the entire clinical vignette from the beginning, or do you use another strategy such as skimming the answer choices first? How/when should you pay attention to lab values and clinical images with respect to reading the vignette? What are your overall strategies for approaching NBME questions?
