I was intrigued by the finding that interns in iCompare found Continuity of Care to be much better under flexible policy, but they reported that Patient Safety was worse under flexible policy. It would seem that these should travel together. Residents in the FIRST Trial reported that flexibility was significantly better for Continuity of Care AND Patient Safety. Thoughts on why this was seen in iCOMPARE?
