Dr. Ciaranello is an clinician-investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, in the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Medical Practice Evaluation Center. Her research uses computer simulation modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis to understand the most effective and efficient ways to scale up services for women and children living with HIV in a range of settings. She also directs the Perinatal Infectious Disease Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, a multidisciplinary program providing care for many infectious diseases from the preconception through postpartum periods.
