Matthew Ziegler, MD is a Fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is actively developing a program of clinical research focused on the epidemiology and prevention of healthcare-associated infection in patients with hematologic malignancy. He received his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin, and he is currently pursing specialized training in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics through the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE) training program at the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also received specialized training in oncology infectious disease and hospital epidemiology and infection control.
