Connie Zhong is an MD candidate at Harvard Medical School with interests in medical education, community-based interventions, and clinical research. She graduated from Harvard College with a BA degree in neurobiology and the University of Oxford with a master's degree in social policy and intervention. She enjoys cooking/baking and running along the Charles River Esplanade.
Lauren Schulz is a neurosurgical resident at the Ohio State University. Her interests include pediatric neurosurgery, research in chronic pain outcomes, cadaveric dissections and medical education. She earned her MD degree from St Louis University School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BS degree in Biology and the University of South Florida with a Master's degree in Medical Sciences. She is a former competitive swimmer and enjoys running in her spare time.
My professional experience as a mechanical engineer include the design of high-performance race car engines and structural elements for UAVs. I've used my engineering experience as a Senior Quality Engineer in the medical device industry, working in design validations, manufacturing qualifications and regulatory compliance.
I am now currently pursuing an MD/PhD degree at Wayne State University, with the intent of treating patients and developing new medical technologies especially in diseases that are leading causes of death.
