Dr. Elias is an Internal Medicine Resident (PGY1) at the University of Texas Southwestern. He is planning on pursuing a career in Hematology/Oncology, with a particular interest in renal cell carcinoma. Dr. Elias completed his medical training at the University of Miami, and recieved his BA in Biochemistry at the University of South Florida.
I am one of the Chief Residents at UT Southwestern. I was born and raised in Spain and got to USA through Latin America after graduating from Medical School. I've traveled extensively and practiced medicine in Mexico, Chile, and Guatemala. I am passionate about learning and teaching medicine and I aim to use that to improve the care of critically ill people around the globe.
Dr. Sumarsono is a resident in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is interested in pursuing a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care. He plans to develop a career involving patient care, medical education, and clinical research.
