I am a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago. I am originally from the Chicago area and completed my undergraduate training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I returned to Chicago for medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and continued my training here for residency as well. I am currently applying for fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine and am primarily interested in critical care outcomes research.
Dr. Deshmukh serves as a Chief Resident of the University of Chicago Internal Medicine Residency Program. Prior to his residency, he completed his undergraduate training at Cornell University and medical school at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Deshmukh is currently applying for fellowship in Cardiology and is interested in clinical electrophysiology.
Dr. Dia serves as a Chief Resident of the University of Chicago Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is originally from Chicago, attending college and medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Dia is applying for fellowship in Cardiology and has an interest in advanced cardiac imaging and MRI.
Dr. Fletcher serves as a Chief Resident of the University of Chicago Internal Medicine Residency Program. She was born and raised in northwest Indiana and received her undergraduate degree in biology from Indiana University. Dr. Fletcher moved to Chicago to attend medical school at the University of Chicago and remained there for her internal medicine residency. She is pursuing a career in general medicine and has an interest in medical education.
