We have invited the residents and faculty from the Duke University Internal Medicine Residency Program to engage in a journal club discussion about the recent NEJM article, " Early, Goal-Directed Therapy for Septic Shock — A Patient-Level Meta-Analysis," which can be found here: http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1701380. They will be joined by some of the paper’s authors for a unique opportunity to discuss how the landmark trials on EGDT were designed and implemented and what’s in store for the future of sepsis care. Come and be a part of the conversation with your own questions and comments!
