Lisa Hofler, MD, MPH, MBA serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Family Planning, at the University of New Mexico, where she is the associate director of the Family Planning Fellowship and medical director of the UNM Center for Reproductive Health. Dr Hofler’s professional memberships include the Society of Family Planning and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr Hofler trained as an engineer before receiving a joint MD/MPH from Emory University School of Medicine and Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, Atlanta, Georgia, with a concentration in Epidemiology. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, where she received several teaching awards and was selected as Administrative Chief Resident. She earned an MBA from Emory University Goizueta Business School, Atlanta, Georgia, during her Family Planning Fellowship at Emory University. Dr Hofler’s interests include implementation research, postpartum and complex contraception, and medical education.
Theresa Rohr-Kirchgraber, MD is an Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics. California State University Long Beach-BA Chemistry; Cornell University College of Medicine, Residency in Internal Medicine-University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Her interests are in health and wellness and she works daily with adults who have conditions of childhood, providing primary care for childhood cancer survivors, congenital abnormalities, and other conditions along with providing care for patients from teens thru adulthood. She treats adult eating disorder pateints as well.
Concerned for Women Physicians, she is working on a study of emotional distress and physician suicidality among women and how the concern for the credentially process has an impact on physicians seeking care.
She is a national speaker, mentor, and works tirelessly to improve the health of Hooser Women and women every where.
Farzanna Sherene Haffizulla, MD FACP FAMWA is the 2014-2015 national President of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) and served as the South Florida AMWA branch President and one of its founding officers. During her current tenure as AMWA President she spearheaded the formation of an affiliate program for AMWA and continues to speak nationally on improving cohesion among health care organizations and physicians. She is involved on many levels with AMWA including being the chair and founder for AMWA’s Preventive Medicine Task Force, founder of AMWA’s fellowship program and she served as the executive chair of the fundraising committee. Dr. Haffizulla is the on-camera show Host, Anchor and Medical Correspondent for the nationwide health program, Mission Critical Health. Dr. Haffizulla is a nationally recognized speaker and expert on work/life balance and published “Harmony of the Spheres: Career, Family and Community” in 2011. She also founded and runs a work/life balance site www.BusyMomMD.com. She authored and nationally published several articles to parenting and professional communities and in July 2014 published her second book: “Lead with your Heart: A Doctor’s Rx for Personal and Professional Success.” She founded and opened her own concierge, Internal Medicine hybrid private practice in 2008 after practicing in a traditional setting for 5 years. Her innovative, creative approach to medical practice allows her to efficiently fuse traditional clinical practice with technology.
