Edward Grom is a 4th-year student at Harvard Medical School. He is currently using this year to pursue a Masters in Public Policy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. His interests lie in health policy and patient access issues. In undergrad, he spent time in India studying barriers to healthcare-seeking, and he was also involved domestically in local obesity prevention efforts. Most recently, he worked in the Office of the Surgeon General studying the federal government's role in preventative health care and community initiatives. Edward's clinical interests lie in Emergency Medicine: he will be returning to medical school in June to start the residency application process.
