Zi-Jiang Chen, M.D., Ph.D Professor of OB/GYN and Reproduction, Dean of Cheeloo College of Medicine, Vice President of Shandong University; Professor and Vice President of Ren Ji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China. Director of National Research Center for Assisted Reproductive Technology and Reproductive Genetics, China. Prof. Chen focuses on reproductive endocrinology, reproductive genetics and assisted reproductive technology: PCOS, POF/POI, RSA, IVF/ICSI, PGD/PGS, etc. She has more than 300 publications on journals such as Nat Genet, Am J Hum Genet, PNAS, Nature Communication, Hum Reprod Update, Fertil Steril, Hum Reprod, etc. Prof. Chen serves as Assistant Secretary General of International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), Executive Member of Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction(ASPIRE), Board Member of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society (PGDIS), Board Member of PGDSIG at ASRM, Director of Chinese Gynecological Endocrinology of OB/GYN Society. Dr. Daimin Wei an attending doctor in center of Reproductive medicine, Shandong University. She graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 2012. She is intersted in treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome and infertility.
Heping Zhang, Ph.D., is Susan Dwight Bliss Professor of Biostatistics, Yale University School of Public Health. In 2005, he founded and has been directing Yale Collaborative Center for Statistics in Science to foster multidisciplinary research in biomedicine. In the past two decades, he has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health. He is the PI of the Data Coordinating Center for the Reproductive Medicine Network funded by NICHD that conducts clinical trials in infertility. Through an R01 project funded by NIDA, he also develops statistical methods and software for genetic studies of complex diseases. He has served as the program director for a T32 training program in Biostatistics and Epidemiology funded by NIMH. He has authored or co-authored over 250 peer-reviewed articles, one of which received Scientific Program Prize from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2013, and the other one received March of Dimes Award for Best Research in Prematurity in 2014. He has received many awards and recognition for both methodological and collaborative research, and frequently gives invited lectures.
Yuhua Shi, female, M.D., Ph.D., Professor Director of reproductive endocrinology，Center for Reproductive Medicine, Shandong University, Jinan, China, 250001. Graduated from Shandong Medical University in 1995, received a doctor's degree from the department of gynecology and obstetrics of Shandong University in 2004. Six months as a visiting scholar in FIU, USA in 2009 and studied RCT management at university of Pennsylvania school of medicine and Yale University in 2013. Shi is good at gynecologic endocrine disease research, diagnosis and treatment, published more than 130 papers, including more than 40 papers in SCI journals (Nature Genetics, Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction, RBM online, et.al). She participated in the making of Chinese Polycystic Ovary Syndrome diagnostic criteria (one of the main drafters), diagnosis and treatment of amenorrhea guide, diagnosis and treatment of hyperprolactinemia guide, etc. She has hosted or participated in 8 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Professor Jiayin Liu is the Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Director of the Center for Clinical Reproductive Medicine (CCRM), Jiangsu Province Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. She is the Vice Director of State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Medicine. Professor Liu has been working on obstetrics and gynecology for more than 30 years, and focused on reproductive medicine for 18 years. Dr. Liu established the CCRM in 1997 and brought forth the first IVF, ICSI, IVM, PGD, and Oocyte freezing babies in Jiangsu Province. Being well experienced on management for infertility and assisted reproductive technologies as chief medical director, she and her team conducted more than 6,000 oocyte retrieval cycles in 2015 and among the best IVF centers in China. Professor Liu’s basic and clinical research interests have focused on ovarian biological function, PCOS, endometriosis, mild stimulation for IVF, oocyte freezing and sharing donation, PGD/PGS and genetics. She is a well-respected author of more than 240 peer-reviewed articles and several books. She has received several research fundings from NSFC. Dr. Jiayin Liu is the board member and holding a leading position in several most important societies in China. She is currently the Vice-director of Group on Gynecologic Endocrinology in Chinese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Vice-chair of Chinese Society of Women’s Health Care, Board Member of Chinese Society of Reproductive Medicine (2006-2015); Vice-Chair of Chinese Medical Doctors Association of Reproductive Medicine, Vice-Chair of Chinese Medical Doctors Association of Genetic Medicine; past Chair of Jiangsu Society of Genetic Medicine (2010-2014). She is very active in the field of assisted reproductive technologies, .reproductive endocrinology, reproductive genetics and women’s infertility.
Dr. Richard S. Legro is Professor and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA and Co-Director of the Clinical Services Core at the Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute. His research and clinical practice are primarily focused on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)- diagnosis, treatment, and genetic/environmental causes as well as on improving infertility diagnosis and treatment. He has led multiple multi-center trials, has been the principal investigator on a number of National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants and published over 200 peer -reviewed articles in medical journals and multiple books in the field of reproductive endocrinology. He is Secretary- Treasurer of the Endocrine Society. He is an Associate Editor for Fertility and Sterility and the Co-Editor in Chief of Seminars in Reproductive Medicine.
