Syeda Ahmad is a first year resident in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Originally born in self-proclaimed "world's oldest city", Multan, Pakistan, Syeda's family immigrated to the United States when she was seven. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University and served as Special Faculty in Department of Chemistry following her graduation. She went on to medical school at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies.
Her medical interests are preventative medicine exploring the role of early screening and education on decreasing patient morbidity.
In her spare time, she often visits her family in Pittsburgh, PA. She also enjoys traveling and arts/ crafts.
