Rhodes hails originally from Georgetown, KY, but more recently completed his BS in Biochemistry at Furman University in SC in 2014.
As someone with an interest in health disparities and public health, Rhodes is a patient coordinator for the NYC Free Clinic, a leader for the LGBT People in Medicine and American Medical Women's Association clubs, and a volunteer in harm reduction through Naloxone education for overdose preventions for clients at the 30th Street Men's Shelter.
In addition, Rhodes is a long-time trombonist who loves music and, conveniently for someone living in NYC, musicals.
Molly is a fourth-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at UCSF. Her interests are in quality improvement, disparities in obstetric outcomes, and perinatal mental health and addiction. She hopes to become a leader in the field of women’s health. In her free time, she is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys writing.
Christopher Mejias is a second year MD student at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. He grew up in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the U.S. to study Chemistry at Washington University in Saint Louis. He has a passion for cooking and has worked with the Campus Kitchens Project in preparing meals for homeless shelters; and has continued to pursue this passion in medical school providing nutrition education to underserved communities. He is one of the coordinators of the LGBT Health Interest Group at WashU School of Medicine and works on educating medical students about LGBT health disparities and ways of addressing them as future medical practitioners.
