I was born and raised in Cuenca, Ecuador. I received my Medical Degree at “Universidad del Azuay” before moving to United States to pursue my residency training. I am currently one of the Chief Residents of the Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Morningside - West/ Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After my chief year, I will start my fellowship in Rheumatology at University of Chicago. My main research interest is cardiovascular outcomes in rheumatic diseases and my clinical interest is Vasculitides. My long-term plans is to be part of a residency program in order to promote medical education. One of my favorite quotes is “Make each day your masterpiece”.
I was born in Tiny Township, Ontario and received my medical degree from St. George's University, Grenada before moving to New York City to pursue residency training. Next year I will be moving to Texas to pursue PCCM Fellowship. My clinical and research interests in include POCUS, simulation and medical education.
Current Chief Resident of Internal Medicine Residency at Icahn School of Medicne at Mount Sinai Morningside and West Hospitals. Future Cardiology fellow at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. Interested coronary artery disease and medical education.
