Dr. Falen Fernandes is from Toronto, Canada. She received an Honours Bachelor of Sciences Degree at the University of Toronto, before crossing over the ocean to pursue her medical studies at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Dr. Fernandes is a Neurology resident physician at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada.
Tedi Begaj is a 2nd Year Ophthalmology Resident (PGY-3) at Mass Eye and Ear-Harvard Medical School. Originally from Albania, Tedi immigrated to the United States in middle school and aimed to contribute to public health through medicine.He studied biomedical engieneering and optics at the University of Rochester, and subsequently attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is passionate about science, education, and soccer.
Emily is starting her first year of residency in neurosurgery at Tufts Medical Center in June. She is a graduate of Tufts Medical School. Prior to medical school she attained a Master of Science in Public Health in Tropical Medicine from Tulane University.
Anmol is a second year medical resident at Duke University Medical Center where she hopes to pursue a career in oncology. She is interested in purusing a career involving research surrounding the patient experience along with furthering medical education with both students and residents.
