Daniel Reinharth, MD, FACP, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell. He has practiced general internal medicine in large and small group practices for over 30 years, and was an NCQA physician reviewer for 10 years. He has co-authored articles on classification of medical errors. He has written two medical murder mysteries (First Do No Harm and A Catskill Slay Ride), and writes a weekly medical blog (awordfromyourdoctor.com). He received his medical degree from New York University, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Nassau County Medical Center.
Yul D. Ejnes, MD, MACP is a board certified internal medicine specialist in private practice at Coastal Medical, Inc. in Cranston, Rhode Island, which he co-founded in 1995. Coastal Medical is Rhode Island’s largest private practice, a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home, and a Medicare accountable care organization. He has practiced general internal medicine for 28 years.
Dr. Ejnes is Past Chair of the American College of Physicians Board of Regents and former Governor of ACP's Rhode Island Chapter. He is a member and past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Quality Institute, the state’s designated regional health information organization.
Currently, Dr. Ejnes is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Board of Directors and its Internal Medicine Board, a subcommittee responsible for internal medicine certification and MOC.
He earned his medical degree from Brown Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island in 1985 and did his internal medicine residency and chief medical residency at Rhode Island Hospital.
