Liane Dallalzadeh was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended UCLA as an undergraduate where she majored in neuroscience, minored in public health, and graduated summa cum laude with college honors and highest departmental honors. She received her MD from Harvard Medical School in 2018 and served as Executive Director of the Harvard Medical Student Review. Liane is currently a PGY-3 Ophthalmology resident at the UCSD Shiley Eye Institute. Her academic interests have previously included hippocampal synaptic plasticity and cerebrovascular disease. Currently, she is interested in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, telemedicine, and medical education in surgery and use of decision support technologies. Follow her at @ldallmd
