    Born in Singapore and raised in Australia, Anusha Jayaram is an MD/MBA candidate at Tufts University School of Medicine interested in pursuing general surgery. She currently serves as the National Co-Chair for the Global Surgery Student Alliance, where she has engaged in global surgery research, advocacy, and education for and with students and trainees. She is also currently a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Associate at the Harvard Program for Global Surgery and Social Change, where she works primarily with Team India on projects related to gender equity, financial risk protection, and innovation. Anusha is committed to gender equity and equitable global surgery work in her own practice and advancing these causes through her communities.
