I am from Fredericksburg, VA and majored in Chemistry at Duke University. I worked as a research assistant at the Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore and Duke School of Medicine in Durham before attending medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, VA. I am now a third year Family Medicine Resident at Baylor College of Medicine.
I'm a rising 4th year MD/MPH student at Tufts University School of Medicine, likely pursing primary care. For two years before medical school, I was a technical research assistant for translational HIV research at Brigham and Women's Hospital. I'm particularly interested in utilizing improvement science and health policy towards promoting improved health care access and equity, especially for people who are incarcerated or have a substance use disorder.
