    Rebecca Sternschein, MD is an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician in the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts where she is the Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program. Dr. Sternschein is also an Associate Editor for NEJM Healer. She earned her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, completed a residency in internal medicine at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She also completed a fellowship in Medical Education Research at the Harvard Academy of Teaching and Learning, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education at Maastricht University in The Netherlands. Her research focuses on formative experiences for clinical trainees in the graduate medical education environment and interprofessional education in the clinical setting.
