Falen Fernandes is originally from Toronto, Canada. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Anthropology and a double minor in Canadian Studies and Medical Anthropology at the University of Toronto. Falen received her medical degree at the University of Limerick in Ireland in June 2018. Currently, she is developing her research interests at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Angela is a 2018-2019 NEJM editorial fellow. She is an endocrine fellow who trained at Flinders Medical Centre and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia. Angela recieved her medical degree from the University of Adelaide, and masters of public health from the University of Sydney. Her clinical and research interests are in the areas of glucocorticoid and cardiovascular endocrinology and diabetes medicine.
Adam Berman is currently a third year internal medicine resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He is excited by cardiovascular medicine and will be an NIH funded T32 cardiovascular research fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School starting in July 2019 after which he plans to pursue a clinical cardiology fellowship. Beyond clinical medicine, Adam is interested in the intersection between health policy and innovation -- and has been an active in the unique Management and Leadership Pathway at Brigham and Women's Hospital during his residency program.
