    Galina Gheihman, HBSc is an MD Candidate in the Pathways Program at Harvard Medical School. Raised in Toronto, she attended the University of Toronto, where she majored in Neuroscience and Psychology. At HMS, Galina is a member of the Student Leadership Committee at the Centre for Primary Care, serving as the editor of the Primary Care Considered Blog and co-leader of the Communications & Narrative Medicine Subcommittee. She has wide research interests including health systems and health services research, quality improvement, knowledge translation, healthcare innovation, behavioral and mental health research, and medical education. In the summer of 2015, Galina completed an 8 week research fellowship in Jonkoping, Sweden, where she conducted a qualitative research study investigating how patients and their families can be involved in healthcare quality improvement and redesign. More recently, Galina has begun exploring innovations in medical education and is interested in the intersection of medical education, patient engagement, co-production, and healthcare quality improvement.

    Krishan is a 4th year student at Harvard Medical School. Originally from Queens, he completed his undergraduate degree at CUNY Hunter College, majoring in chemistry. He is currently taking an additional year to complete the MMSc degree in medical education at Harvard, with his thesis work focused on experiential learning and peer teaching. He will be applying into internal medicine later this year, with plans to specialize in either critical care or infectious disease. Ultimately, Krishan aspires to become a clinician educator, while conducting research that contributes towards evidence-based methods in medical education.
