    Mr. Gans is a national authority on medical practice operations and health systems for the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the national association for medical practice leaders. He is an educational speaker, authors a monthly column in the Association journal, and is a resource on all areas of medical group practice management. His work focuses on current issues of importance to medical practice executives including:  Patient safety and quality  Administrative simplification, cost efficiency, and the dissemination of best practices  Information technology  Preparing physicians and their practices for health care reform, value based payment, and a transformed health delivery system.

    Mr. Gans has served on the MGMA staff for over 30 years. His prior positions included: Vice President Innovation and Research; Director Practice Management Resources; Director Survey Operations; and Research Project Manager. He has authored over 125 journal articles, co-authored three books on medical practice management, and was the principal investigator on numerous federal and foundation grants. In addition to his responsibilities for the Medical Group Management Association Mr. Gans has appointments as:  Member, Board of Trustees, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) Institute for Quality Improvement  Member, Technical Expert Panel, Surveys On Patient Safety Culture, Department of Health and Human Services Agency for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ)  Affiliated Faculty, Institute of Rural Health, Idaho State University Mr. Gans received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Science in Health Administration degree from the University of Colorado. Mr. Gans retired from the United States Army Reserve in the grade of Colonel, is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Jennifer oversees employed physician, executive and APP recruitment for the System, which includes six hospitals, 30+ medical centers, and over 28,000 employees throughout Southeastern Michigan. Jennifer oversees the sourcing, screening, interviewing, employment offers, relocation, onboarding and orientation for the position titles of Vice President and above, including all C-Suite positions, the 1,200-physician member Henry Ford Medical Group, and 400+ APPs at HFHS.     Craig is the Senior Vice President of Recruiting and Vice President of Training and Public Relations for Pinnacle Health Group (PHG). Craig came to PHG with healthcare experience in both patient care and physician recruiting. For the past ten years, he has been responsible for the recruitment training for all of Pinnacle Health Group’s companies/divisions; including their Philippines-based call center.

    Craig’s knowledge of healthcare recruitment comes from nearly 25 years in the healthcare industry. He spent the first 4 years of his career in patient care and the remaining decades focused on recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers. Further, Craig serves on the Board of Directors for National Association of Physician Recruiters; where for over 5 years he served as the Education Chairperson. Laura was invited to develop an in-house physician recruitment program in early 2016, which would serve as a strategic partner with both the medical group and the academic centers. The strategic alliance will assist the main academic campuses, and the regional hospital network, provide high quality healthcare to patients throughout the NY metropolitan area. With roots dating back to 1771, New York-Presbyterian is one of the most comprehensive healthcare delivery systems in the US, New York City-based New York-Presbyterian is routinely recognized as a leader in medical education, research and clinical care. Prior to her new role at New York-Presbyterian, Laura was responsible for the development and direction of in-house Physician Recruitment programs for healthcare organizations from coast to coast: HIP Health Plan, Kaiser Permanente, Lifetime Health Medical Group, Atlantic Health System, the Alaska Native Medical Center, the US Army at Fort Huachuca, AZ and Northwell Health (formerly North Shore-LIJ).
