    Nicholas Chiu is a medical student at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM). He graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with degrees in Medical Science and Economics. Nicholas has research experience in radiation oncology and hematology/oncology and has authored numerous prospective and retrospective studies as well as meta-analyses on topics ranging from taxane-induced arthralgia and myalgia to the use of olanzapine for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (Full List: https://goo.gl/L5wdOF).

    Nicholas currently serves as the Student President of the Boston University School of Medicine Chapters for the American Medical Association (AMA) and Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) respectively, and is a voting member on the New England Journal of Medicine Committee on Publications. In addition to clinical medicine, Nicholas is passionate about health policy and clinical research and has authored successful health policy resolutions on addiction medicine and public health issues that have been adopted at both the state and federal levels by the MMS and AMA.

    Ultimately, Nicholas hopes to practice medicine while concomitantly pursuing his passion for clinical research and evidence-based health policy.
